A Chicago River Scene

I love the coloring and view of this picture.
Last weekend my parents and I took my brother, my sister in law, my nephews and neice up to Chicago. We had lunch in the Walnut Room around the tree at Macys, we took the kids to see Santa, we went to the lego and sanrio stores in Nordstroms. And this was a moment I had to capture when we were walking over the bridge. I thought it was fantastic. :) |

The Black Umbrella
Journal
posted by xxsawgodcryxx 20 hrs ago
On a dark night I was on the way to a friend of mine. I walked down the lonesome street next to the cornfield with the old shed that scared the living daylights out of me since I heard a story about the dark-dressed woman. When I was younger my grandma told me about a woman with the dark coat and the black umbrella who lived in the shed because her husband abused her. She was found dead several years ago.
Suddenly I heard a gasp and stopped breathing for a second - was I hallucinating? I turned around, but there was nobody. I was scared. Everytime I picked up the pace, someone behind me stepped up, too. Breathless I turned around and looked straight in the face of a woman with a black coat and a black umbrella in her hands. Her sorrowful eyes paralyzed me. -- The next |
